With their first product close to commercialization, Tesaro was a relatively new player on the market. Our challenge was to showcase their rich oncology pipeline to generate awareness and encourage participation in clinical trials.
We created an interactive tangible media installation—a highly tactile approach to encourage user interaction and self-discovery—for a high-profile oncology conference. Because TESARO means “treasure”, we re-conceived the conventional touchscreen table as a jewel box, with gorgeous, glossy 3D printed pipeline molecules as the jewels.
With each molecule the user places on the table, RFID (radio-frequency identification) controls trigger customized content about the MOA and on-going clinical trials for each drug, encouraging users to play freely and prolong their interaction.
