We’re proud to announce that INVIVO has been named one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2020!

“This year’s award winners each demonstrate a commitment to culture as competitive advantage. They set a truly admirable example of how cultivating and sustaining great cultures can ultimately drive outstanding growth and performance.” says Marty Parker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Waterstone Human Capital and Chair of the Canada’s Most Admired™ program.

At INVIVO we take great care to practice a growth mindset, live our values as best we can, and stay focused on our purpose which is to improve the quality of life by accelerating the understanding of science.

“What an honour it is to win this award during a year filled with so much uncertainty.  I believe it is due to the strength of our culture that enabled us to keep growing as an organization and adapt so quickly to pandemic conditions and working from home.” says Andrea Bielecki, CEO. Virtual team parties, group meditations, online tutoring and weekly coffee breaks are just a few of the initiatives that have kept our team connected throughout the last 9 months. “I’m so proud of everyone’s resilience and flexibility this year. We help each other get through the hard times and this award is a true validation of that.”

As global citizens we have always believed it is important to give back to our community. This past year we’ve supported 21 charities and organizations including Black Lives Matterthe LGBT Youth Line, and the Toronto Rape Crisis Centre.  We’ve also donated our time to produce animations for Doctors Without Borders; the Hospital for Sick Kids; and One Prosper International.  And we invest in internal projects that help to educate on important topics such as The Science of Soap, or that reflect our values, such as The Science of Hope and The Science of Giving animations.

Over the past three years INVIVO has grown dramatically and given our recent partnership with Red Nucleus, we’re poised to continue our expansion globally. To help fuel this growth we are looking for the best and brightest minds to join our team. We look for people who are the top of their game, care about the work that we do and align closely to our values. We treat cultural fit and capability in equal measure. As Jamie Erickson, VP of Culture notes, “diversity is the road to harmony.” We know that our diversity is truly a strength, and when our team members feel like they can be their true selves at work it lends itself to a connected, caring, and vibrant culture. “Our intention is to always be a “people first” organization. We practice compassionate leadership as a guiding ethos, and we make having fun and human connection real priorities.”

Congratulations to our team, and thank you Waterstone for naming INVIVO one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2020.

The team together in the summer of 2019.
