As the leader of a digital healthcare agency, and as a mother, I'm well aware of the gender gap in tech and the balancing act of “leaning in”.

While gender parity has come a long way, there is still a lot of work to be done to close the gap, especially for companies in science and tech like INVIVO.

Recent news has resonated louder than ever for me. Articles like “For Canada to succeed on the global stage, we need more women tech leaders”, Joanna Lublin’s new book “Earning it” Hard-Won Lessons from Trailblazing Women at the Top of the Business World”, and of course the amazing Women’s March are just a few that speak to the importance of encouraging the ideas and leadership of women.

I’ve worked hard to build INVIVO and am honoured to lead a team that puts creativity, integrity and equality at the core of our values. I am proud to add my voice to the plurality of female voices that make up the exciting world of digital health—a plurality that makes us all stronger.
