A woman holds an iPad displaying information from the Tumor 3D Explorer App, developed for Novartis.
A series of screen views from the Tumor 3D Explorer, developed for Novartis.
Growth factor binds onto the growth factor receptor expressed on the surface of a tumor cell while angiogenesis is observed at the periphery of the environment. A heads-up display indicates gyroscopic viewing capabilities and interactivity of this cellular scene.

Tumor 3D Explorer

CHALLENGE:
Our client wished to communicate a complex story around mechanism of disease (MOD) and mechanism of action (MOA). By emphasizing the molecular-level impact of the therapeutic compound, the goal was to have physicians and sales teams learn about the selected disease from both intra- and extra-cellular perspectives.

TRANSFORMATION:
We created an effective educational iPad app, completed on time and on budget. We reorganized, digitized, and animated content to create a richly immersive 3D environment.

RESULT:
The user can explore the app at their pace with maximum engagement. Gyroscope-controlled movements give users the sensation that they are inside the 3D environment, resulting in a highly-customized app that engages and educates physicians and sales teams wherever they are: at home on their iPad, during a sales call or within the conference setting.
